What we can help with
- Corrections. If a spec, a tolerance, or a standard we cited is wrong or superseded, tell us which article and what you spotted. Accuracy complaints go to the top of the pile.
- Topic suggestions. If there is a product category, installation problem, or industry development you wish someone had explained properly, we would like to hear it — reader questions drive a lot of what we publish.
- Privacy and data requests. Ask us to export or delete any personal data we hold about you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Advertising and partnerships. Commercial enquiries are welcome; please include specifics.
What we cannot help with
We cannot diagnose a specific flooring failure by email. We are a publication, not an installer or an inspector, and floor problems depend on the subfloor, the moisture conditions, the product, and how it was installed — none of which we can see. Photos of a cupped floor or a failing seam will not get a reliable answer from us.
For a specific job, the manufacturer’s technical support line and a qualified local installer will give you a far better answer than we can. If a warranty claim is involved, go to the manufacturer first — what they require is what governs the outcome.
Response times
We aim to reply to most messages within a few business days. Corrections are reviewed faster, because if something is wrong we want it fixed before more people read it. We do not always reply to advertising enquiries individually.
